A word from the founder
I hold a doctorate in economics and management sciences, and I have spent more than a decade in academic research across economics, finance, microfinance, marketing, and other fields. Along the way, I have helped many researchers move their own work forward.
I started my own PhD after more than eight years already spent in research. Living it from that vantage point, I saw clearly what makes the doctoral road so hard: a difficult or distant relationship with a supervisor, or a supervisor simply too busy to help; getting lost in the reading, or in the writing; not knowing how to choose the right methodology; doubting that an article will ever be accepted. These are not small things, and almost no one is taught how to handle them.
I built Doctoral Compass around exactly these moments: a clear read on where you stand, live workshops on the skills that move a thesis forward, and an expert set of eyes on your work before it reaches a committee or a journal. Whatever stage you are at, you should not have to figure it out alone.
